Southern Adventist University is hosting Food Summit 2012 this Sunday, from 1-4:30 p.m. Guest speaker Byron Smith, founder of Sunizona Family Farms in Wilcox, Ariz., will explain the benefits of sustainable agriculture and various ways individuals and communities can incorporate this practice.
Sponsored by faculty, staff, and students of Southern's global policy and service major, the event is free and open to the public. Meetings will be held on campus in Lynn Wood Hall.
