eNgAgE is an annual volunteer fair presented by the United Way of Greater Chattanooga’s Center for Nonprofits and Volunteer Center. For the second year, eNgAgE will take place at the Chattanooga Market in the First Tennessee Pavilion, 1829 Carter St, on Sunday, Nov. 18, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Approximately 20 CNP member nonprofit organizations set up displays to share their missions and volunteer opportunities with market-goers interested in serving their community. Potential volunteers visit nonprofit booths and learn how they can make a difference based on their skills and interests.
This year, eNgAgE 2012 will also feature an interactive service project that will allow attendees to participate on the spot in a volunteer effort. Throughout the day, as part of the event, all attendees will have the chance to become a volunteer to help stuff 600 Sack Packs for children served by the Chattanooga Food Bank.
