A woman told police her Halloween yard ornaments were pilfered.
Lauren Lucas of Federal Street said the missing items include four home-made tombstones. The grave markers - one with the name Sweeney Todd and another William Compton - were made of foam insulation.
She also reported missing three bottles labeled "BLOOD" and a witch's cauldron.

Bryan Chalmer said he and his wife were staying at the Holiday Inn Express on MLK Boulevard.
He said they went out to eat and, when they returned, a suitcase that contained an HP camera worth $120 was missing.
Mr. Chalmer said he is sure the room door was locked.
He said his computer and his wife's laptop were in plain view, but were not taken.
He said he got no help from the front desk.

Trey Aycock of Memphis Drive had his side door kicked in.
Several areas of the house were ransacked.
Items taken include a TV and a jewelry box.

Terry Lee of Sunset Avenue also reported a break-in. A rear kitchen window was knocked out.
He is missing a 32" TV, a 36" TV and a laptop.

Capt. Jeff Francis was driving along South Broad Street when he spotted two feet sticking out of a Teen Challenge donation box.
He found Junior Allen Taylor inside.
He had helped himself to several shirts and an orange pillow.
Taylor was charged with theft under $500.

Sarah Hefner said she was working at the fright house at Ruby Falls. Her job was to scare customers.
She said when a group of kids came along she jumped out and screamed at them.
One of the youngsters became so frightened that he slugged her, knocking her to the floor.
She had to go to Parkridge Hospital when she began bleeding from the mouth and had a loose tooth.
The boy and his mother said they were sorry.
