East Hamilton Boys, Boyd-Buchanan Girls Win 3-A/AA Golf Titles

Silvers, Triplett Earn Medalist Honors

East Hamilton’s boys and Boyd-Buchanan’s girls earned championships Tuesday in the Region 3-A/AA high school golf tournament at Valleybrook.

East Hamilton’s Christian Silvers shot 78 and won the boys individual championship while Polk Country’s Lydia Triplett won the girls title with a 79.

The state tournament will be next week at Willowbrook in Mancester.

City Council Ad Hoc Committee To Study Moving Elections To August, Adding More Districts, Staggering Terms
