Miranda Smith's two, first half goals were all Soddy Daisy needed to post a 2-0 win against host Ooltewah Tuesday and clinch the Region 3 District 5 AAA title.
The No.7 Trojans (12-2-2), winners of six straight district championships, finished district play at 6-0 and now has won 40 straight district matches, ironically, since a 0-0 tie at Ooltewah in Sept. 2007.
Ooltewah, 6-6-0 overall and 3-2-0 in district, hosts McMinn County (9-7-0, 4-1-0) Thursday with the winner finishing second in the district.
Natalie Smith and Alyssa Scarpelli assisted on the goals as the Trojans outshot Ooltewah, 14-6.

Shelby Smith and Arielle Hansford scored goals for the Cherokees who face Ooltewah Thursday for second place in the district.
