Chattanooga's American Advertising Federation Hosts "Let's Make A Deal -- Media Auction" Nov. 1

Wednesday, October 03, 2012

The local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, AAF Chattanooga, will host “Let’s Make A Deal – Media Auction”, to give local media buyers and small businesses an opportunity to purchase discounted media packages to utilize in their marketing campaigns. The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Car Barn.

With the famous 1970’s t.

v. show as the theme for this year’s event, the media auction will include media packages from local media leaders including Chattanooga Times Free Press, EPB Cable, Brewer Media, Cumulus Media, and many more. More fun can be had as the event imitates the famous “Let’s Make a Deal” game show, with prizes for participants that dress up in their best costume. Participants can also purchase media packages and other big ticket items in the silent auction.

This is a fun filled event to help raise operating funds for AAF Chattanooga, as well as provide a uniquely inexpensive opportunity for businesses to purchase their annual media needs at a low cost.

“Our mission is to educate the advertising professionals throughout Chattanooga, but as more and more small businesses pop up, we need to focus on their needs as well,” stated, Kathy Jacobus, Char of the 2012 Media Auction. “The funds raised from the auction go directly to AAF’s operating expenses, so this event is a big deal for us and our success directly depends on it.”

Tickets for the event include dinner and drinks. AAF members can purchase tickets at $20 and non-members can purchase tickets for $27. All media buyers and small business marketing professionals get in the event for free. The event is November 1 at 5:30 p.m. at the Car Barn, 6721 Heritage Ct.
