Brandon Heath And Matt Maher In Community Concert For Food For The Hungry

Grammy-nominated and multiple GMA Dove Award winning artist Brandon Heath is coming to Chattanooga in concert for Food for the Hungry. Heath will be joined by Matt Maher. Maher is a worship leader and respected songwriter who has written with artists such as Chris Tomlin, Matt Redmond, Audrey Assad and Jars of Clay.

The concert will be Friday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. and will be hosted at Calvary Chapel Chattanooga at 3415 South Broad St.

Serving the poor globally since 1971, Food for the Hungry focuses both on short-term emergency relief work where needed while also investing intentionally in long-term work to end world hunger. And with more than 90 percent of their 2,000 staff members being citizens of the 23 countries they serve around the world, they place a high priority on cherishing, valuing and partnering with the poor.

Feds Dismiss Criminal Charges Against Rarity Developer Mike Ross

Federal authorities have dismissed an indictment against Mike Ross, the developer of a floundering Rarity Club project at Nickajack Lake in Marion County.
