Magic Of The Miracle German Illusionist To Perform In Cleveland

Wednesday, October 03, 2012

Montessori Kinder International School and its mk plus German Language School program will present world-renowned magician Martin Lübcke in Cleveland. The award-winning illusionist from Germany will perform at the Walker Valley High School Auditorium on Saturday, as part of his “Magic of the Miracle” tour.

Martin Lübcke arrived in the United States earlier this month to embark on a seven city tour through the Southeast.

This will be the first time that his magic is available to audiences outside of the major cities. “Performing for my American fans and friends is one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me,” says Lübcke. “Y'all watch out though - we have loaded the show with even more mind-bending illusions and laughing-out-loud fun.”

Lübcke’s U.S. tour is sponsored in part by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, the official representation of Germany in the Southeastern United States. Throughout the years Montessori Kinder and mk plus German Language School have been developing close ties with the Consulate General in Atlanta. As a result of this mutually beneficial relationship and in recognition of the constantly growing German-speaking population in the Tennessee Valley, the German Consulate decided to include Cleveland and Bradley County in the 2012 “Magic of the Miracle” tour.

Brigitta Hoeferle, founder and director at Montessori Kinder, is looking forward to the show: “Everyone at MK and at mk plus is extremely excited that we have been able to bring Martin to Bradley County. This is an magic act that you would usually only see in the big cities. The fact that Martin and the Consulate chose Cleveland as a leg on the tour shows how relevant our area has become in terms of transatlantic relations.”

The German-American evening with Martin Lübcke is free to the public, thanks to the generous support of the Consulate General, Walker Valley High School, Montessori Kinder, and German Language School/Deutsche Sprachschule by mk plus.

Martin Lübcke is beyond comprehension. Full of charm and extremely dynamic, his shows move from showcasing the art of magic to performing true miracles. His sleeves rolled up, within reach of the audience and directly in front of the eyes of stunned spectators, the most daring illusions become reality. One cannot understand it, and does not want to at all...

What the reigning German Champion accomplishes in an unrivaled way pulls everyone into his unique magical spell. His performance is more than a show full of tricks. Those who experience his breathtaking art will never be able to forget it. Martin Lübcke was captured by the powerful allure of magic at the age of seven when he saw David Copperfield fly and knew that one day he wanted to perform this inconceivable illusion himself. Since that very moment, Martin Lübcke has perfected his breathtaking art with great love for detail and endless enthusiasm.

But beware - his passion is contagious! The willing suspension of disbelief happens when the magician allows his audience to perform illusions themselves, and they suddenly discover their own miraculous abilities. From the biggest auditorium to the most intimate setting, Martin Lübcke thrills his audiences, captures their hearts and offers one thing above all: Irresistible entertainment that has to be shared with others!

Location Of The Delta Queen Is The Problem

The Delta Queen is a magnificent part of history and in many ways I'm pleased she is in town. Having the boat where she is is the problem. The boat blocks the view of and from the prettiest park in our town. The crew take many of the parking spots around the park leaving families to park across Frazier and schlep their kids, strollers and picnics to the park. You don't get fireworks ... (click for more)
