Pigtails And Crewcuts Has Ribbon Cutting Friday, Grand Opening Saturday

Pigtails and Crewcuts will celebrate its ribbon cutting on Friday at 3:30 p.m. The business is at 7550 East Brainerd Road, Suite 111. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the event. 

Pigtails and Crewcuts will have a fun-filled grand opening celebration on Saturday, with activities that include a donut-decorating station from Daylight Donuts, pony rides, balloon animals and a meet-and-greet with Elmo.

The grand opening festivities will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The schedule is as follows: 

9-11 a.m.  Breakfast with the Creation Station from Daylight Donuts offering 24 toppings and four different glazes, guests decorate their own donuts. 

11 a.m.–1 p.m. Pony rides 

12-3 p.m. Balloon animals 

3-4 p.m. Elmo meet-and-greet

In addition, the salon will offer its full menu of hair styling and haircutting services throughout the day, and will donate $2 from every service to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga. Guests who bring in a Ronald McDonald “wish list” item (including food, toiletries and paper products, see http://www.rmhchattanooga.com/www/docs/133/in-kind-gifts for full list) will receive $1 off.  

Pigtails and Crewcuts offers hair-care services and hosts kid-themed parties in its party room, where children can celebrate birthdays while playing dress-up, walking the red carpet, embarking on treasure hunts and receiving hair, nail and makeup services. The salon also has a child-sized pedicure chair for spa parties and individual treatments, which include foot scrub, lotion and painted nails.   

Hours of operation are from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays.
