Holly Young Has Book Signing Nov. 10

Tuesday, October 30, 2012

Holly Young will have a book signing at the Book Gallery at Northgate Mall on Nov. 10 from 1-3 p.m.

Ms. Young, a resident of Bryant, Ala., will be available to sign copies of her novel, Down This Road.

Review for Down This Road:

Based on the true story of two hearts that, no matter what storm separated them, they inevitably drifted back together. Down This Road is a romance that survived years of separation, war, death, abuse, and betrayal. When approaching the end of her life, Raygan knows that she will be leaving this world as a stranger to the person she is closest to—her daughter. With an expiration date hanging over her head, she takes a pen to paper, titling her story Down This Road. She begins by filling in the blanks: the truth about a brown river rock, her abusive childhood, her and her husband's whirlwind romance. Then she tells the secrets. Death. Addiction. Betrayal. Forbidden love. And the biggest secret of all, the one that would change her daughter's life forever. Will the truth of what happened Down This Road bring Raygan and her daughter closer together, or tear their family apart?

Location Of The Delta Queen Is The Problem - And Response

The Delta Queen is a magnificent part of history and in many ways I'm pleased she is in town. Having the boat where she is is the problem. The boat blocks the view of and from the prettiest park in our town. The crew take many of the parking spots around the park leaving families to park across Frazier and schlep their kids, strollers and picnics to the park. You don't get fireworks ... (click for more)
