Red Bank District 2 City Commission candidate Rick Causer and East Ridge City Council contender Ann Pruett are leading in spending on municipal races.
For the last reporting period, Mr. Causer said he spent $3,777 in his effort to unseat Mayor Monty Millard. He did not list any individual contributions.
Ms. Pruett, whose late husband Fred Pruett was East Ridge mayor, spent $3,657.76 in the last reporting period. She took in $3,275.24. Contributions included $2,000 from Terry Watts of Sweetwater, $500 from former East Ridge Mayor Mike Steele and $500 from Matt Wood, who wants to put in a development next to Camp Jordan Park.
Also in East Ridge, Marc Gravitt listed $550 in receipts and $273 in expenditures, while incumbent Denny Manning had $300 in donations and spent $400. Gravitt contributions included $100 from Elizabeth Norris, $100 from C.L. Storie, $100 from Winton Harris and $100 from Vernon Liston.
In Soddy Daisy, incumbent Geno Shipley said he took in $670 and spent $989.75.
Signal Mountain Mayor Bill Lusk spent $1,362.82, while incumbent Annette Allen spent $2,608. Joe Dumas collected $545 and spent $731.70. William Frank Preston took in $545 and spent $531.66.
