Covenant sophomore Hudson Brock was named NCCAA Division I Player of the Week. This marks the second time this season that a Covenant men's soccer player has earned the distinction.
Brock, a sophomore from Lookout Mountain, Ga., scored two goals in Covenant's two victories last week over Sewanee and Huntingdon. The sophomore scored the second goal in a 3-2 win over Sewanee and then had the game-winning goal in the second overtime to defeat Huntingdon 1-0. The scores were Brock's first two of the season.
Matt Hudnut was the first Covenant Scot honored this with the NCCAA weekly award this season back in September.
Covenant sits at 9-9-1 on the season after wrapping up the regular season on Tuesday night with a 2-0 loss to Trevecca Nazarene. Covenant will now await their opponent in the NCCAA Mid-East Region Tournament.
