Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Celebrates 120th Anniversary

The celebration of the 120th anniversary of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church will be on Sunday, at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. There will be a pre-service mini-recital from 5:20-5:50 p.m. by organist David Friberg. The program will  include congregational singing and the Chancel choir closing with the Hallelujah chorus, Darrin and Christiine Hassevoort and David Tahere, soloists, Mel Wilhoit, trumpet and David Fribeg, organ. A reception will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.

The topic for the morning worship services will be "How Have We Shown Contempt and Defiled Your Name," with Malachi 1:6-2:9 as text. The 8:10, 9:30 and 11 a.m. sanctuary services will be led by Len Teague and the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services in the Fellowship Hall will be led by Brian Salter.
