Both Dr. Mary Headrick and Andrae McGary will be in Bradley County Monday night in events featuring them and their Republican opponents.

Dr. Headrick debates Rep. Chuck Fleischmann in what so far is the only head-to-head appearance agreed to by the freshman congressman.

Monday’s debate will be held at Cleveland Middle School, 3635 Georgetown Rd., Cleveland 37312. For more information, contact 423 310-0217.

The Cleveland Lions Club, Bradley County Bar Association and the Cleveland Rotary Club are sponsoring a political forum tonight with Mr. McGary and his opponent, Todd Gardenhire. The forum will be held in the newly renovated Johnson Theatre at Cleveland State Community College, 3535 Adkisson Dr., Cleveland 37312, at 6:30 p.m.

WCLE FM 104.1 and WTNB Charter Channel 5 will broadcast this forum.

Holiday Schedule Announced For Dalton-Whitfield Solid Waste Authority

Rogers, 20, Shot Twice While Standing On His Porch

A 20-year-old man was shot twice while standing on his porch on Monday night. At approximately 8:44 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of Walker Street.
