James Edward “Eddie” Leamon, Jr., 59, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at his home.
He was a member of Tasso Baptist Church. He had worked at Magic Chef for 20 years and was later employed at Young’s Body Shop. Eddie enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting Indian artifacts, and working on cars.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Leamon of Cleveland; his parents, James E. Leamon, Sr. (Katherine) of Cleveland; son, James Edward Leamon, III (Bethany) of Charleston, S. Carolina; step-son, Adam Willis of Cleveland; grandchildren, Drake Willis, Kaden Willis and Landen Willis all of Cleveland; sister, Katherine Kincaid (Kenneth) of Charleston; brother, George Wrondle Leamon of Cleveland; two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Richard McKeehan officiating. Interment will follow in Calhoun Cemetery with Levi Leamon, Adam Willis, Jason Kincaid, Kenneth Kincaid, Jeff Stewart and Brad Stewart serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 9 at the Fike Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
