11th Annual Fantasy Maze Is Oct. 26 and 27

Hamilton County Parks and Recreation will host the 11th annual Fantasy Maze at the Tennessee Riverpark, 4301 Amnicola Highway, on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 and 27, from 6-9 pm.

The Fantasy Maze features cartoon heroes and classic characters hidden deep within a large straw bale maze. There will be no threatening characters or scary atmosphere at this event. Characters will give candy and trinkets and provide photo opportunities. Children are encouraged to wear costumes and bring treat bags.  

Admission is $3 per child (adults and children under two are free). Additional fees for inflatable games are $1 each. Concessions will be available.

Craft N Crop Held Oct. 6 At Heritage House Arts And Civic Center

The monthly Craft N Crop will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, at Heritage House Arts and Civic Center.  The event is a relaxed artists mixer for creatives of all stripes.   Participants each bring a potluck dish to share for dinner and then work on their various projects (scrapbooks, bead looms, clay projects, etc.) while sharing conversation and positive feedback.   ... DA Pinkston Files Petition To Declare 2 Gangs A Public Nuisance

District Attorney General Neal Pinkston filed a petition on Monday asking that two Chattanooga gangs, the Gangster Disciples and the Grape Street Crips, and their members be declared public nuisances. Woman With Ankle Injuries Rescued On Walden's Ridge

Emergency Service personnel responded to an injured runner on the Mabbit Trails on Signal Mountain on Monday morning. At 10 a.m. , a 39-year-old female called 911 reporting she had injured her ankle.
