Carmen Yvette Hudgins, 52, died on October 5, 2012 in a local hospital.

A celebration of life service for Carmen will be held at 1 p.m. at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct. 13. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Oct. 12, and the family will receive friends from 7–8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
