About 10 years ago I first heard the phrase, “It is what it is.” I believe it was former Tennessee quarterback Casey Clausen who used it a lot, especially when talking about a Volunteer loss. An article in today's Los Angeles Times by Dylan Hernandez indicates that the Dodgers have no plans to send Yasiel Puig back down to the Minor Leagues.
