Muriel J. Sammons, 42 of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, October 28, 2012. 

Funeral services will be held at the Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church Saturday, Nov. 3, at noon. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Gardens.

The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Nov. 2, and the  family will receive friends today from 5-7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.

Curtis Coleman Sentenced To 144 Months For Dealing Heroin

Curtis Allen Coleman, 41, of Dayton, Ohio, was sentenced to serve 144 months in prison by Federal Judge Travis R. McDonough for heroin distribution in Chattanooga.
