Latrelle Leonard Townsend, 77, of Rocky Face, GA, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at her residence. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Townsend; and her parents, Mitch & Kinous Leonard. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam & David Guess of Rocky Face; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Kay Townsend and Chris Jordan all of Rocky Face; sister-in-law, Effie Caylor of Villanow; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Jane Leonard, Ray & Mary Leonard, and Larry Leonard, all of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Samantha George, Samual, Kenneth and Amanda Townsend; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held Monday, November 12 at 2 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. John Dallas and Rev. Daniel Addis officiating. Burial will follow at Dunnagan Cemetery, with Donald Hasty, Gary Carlock, Jimmy Leonard, Greg Leonard, David Leonard, and Kendall Hall serving as pallbearers. 

In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Mount Vernon United Methodist Church Sanctuary renovation. 

Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Westside Chapel, Rocky Face, is in charge of local arrangements.
