JoAnne Favors Thanks Voters And Campaign Workers

Monday, November 12, 2012

My heartfelt gratitude is extended to the almost 20,000 citizens who elected me as your State Representative for the newly created 28th Legislative District.  I will continue working diligently to promote enactment of laws related to affordable and accessible health care delivery,  public education,  job retraining,  public safety and creation of living wage jobs.

Let me also thank Paul Smith, chairman of the Hamilton County Democratic Party and all of the volunteers who worked the polling sites, telephone banks, and provided transportation and assistance with voter registration.   Your performance was stellar and crucial in minimizing voter disenfranchisement  resulting from precinct changes, improper purging of voters and delayed mailing of voter registration cards.
