Shane Simmons Is New Plant Manager At East Tech Company

Shane Simmons has been promoted to plant manager at East Tech Company. 

Mr. Simmons joined the company in 2011 as a machinist. Through hard work and dedicated service to East Tech and its customers Mr. Simmons has become integral to the day to day operations of the company, said officials.

Mr. Simmons graduated from Georgia Northwestern in 2011 with a degree in Machine Tool and CNC Programming and also has 20 years work experience.

Child, 23 Months, Found Dead In Crib With Fentanyl Patch On Back; Death Ruled Homicide

A 23-month-old Chattanooga boy has been found dead in his crib with a Fentanyl patch on his back. The death of Demarcus Bryant at 7655 Borris Dr. last month was ruled a homicide.
