Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will host programs commemorating the anniversary of the Battles for Chattanooga on Saturday, Nov. 17, and Sunday, Nov. 18. The Lookout Mountain Battlefield Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.
A variety of activities – guided walks, talks, and tours – will be conducted at various locations in the Chattanooga area, including Lookout Mountain, Missionary Ridge, and Moccasin Bend. Living history demonstrations will include Confederate artillery and infantry which will be conducted in Point Park, located atop Lookout Mountain.
Confederate Artillery Demonstrations
Saturday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Confederate Infantry Demonstrations
Saturday, Nov. 17, and Sunday, Nov. 18, at 10:45 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
