Venable, Earl Eugene (Powells Crossroads)

Earl Eugene Venable, 79, of Powells Crossroads, TN, died Saturday, November 3, 2012, at a Chattanooga hospital. 

He was a member of Whitwell Church of Christ. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Frances Jones Venable; son, Dennis Eugene Venable; parents, Earl and Orvella Venable; brother, Curtis Venable; and sister, "Sis" Phillips. 

He is survived by daughters, Kathy (Michael) Smith, Gardendale, AL, Karen (David) Hall, Powells Crossroads; grandchildren, Kirk Landon (Iesa) Smith, Allison Marie Hall and Lori Dennis Hall; and great-grandchildren, Hailey Alexia Smith and Hunter Landon Smith. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 5 at 11 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Teague Cemetery with Military Honers provided by The Sequatchie Military Honor Guard. 

Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, where the family will receive friends Sunday, November 4 from 4-8 p.m. CDT.
