Milling And Paving Could Cause Delays On Gunbarrel

The 2000 to 2100 block of Gunbarrel Road between Landress Drive and Goodwin Road will be undergoing milling and paving beginning Monday, which will have the northbound lanes narrowed down to one lane.

There will be also be periodic closures of the entrances to Hamilton Place Mall and the Walmart shopping center. This work should be complete by Nov. 16, weather permitting.


Enterprise South Nature Park Is Open; Bike Trails Remain Closed

The Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department  announced that the Enterprise South Nature Park is open.   However, the mountain bike trails remain closed and the paved bicycle trails will open as conditions permit.   (click for more)

Performing Arts League Dance Event March 6

The Performing Arts League will have a dance, "Steppin' Out" on Friday, March 6 from 7-10 p.m. at the Fairyland Club on Lookout Mountain featuring the Booker T. FCC Votes 3-2 To Approve EPB's Request To Expand Its Broadband Offerings

The Federal Communications Commission voted 3-2 on Thursday to allow EPB to expand its broadband offerings to neighboring communities. Chairman Tom Wheeler and two other Democrats were in favor, while the two Republican members said the agency was acting illegally in overriding state law.
