Vandergriff, Sarah "Jo"

Sarah "Jo" Vandergriff, 66, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, died on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at her home. 

She was a member of Community Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Vandergriff; parents, Alvin and Pearl Mayes; brother, Thomas Mayes. 

She is survived by two sisters, Thelma (Albert) Lewis and Peggy (Jim) Hicks, both of Signal Mountain; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ronnie Vandergriff officiating. Burial will be in the Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Jean Wyrick Napolitan, 92, of Chattanooga, formerly of Knoxville, Tennessee, died on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in a local hospital. Born in Morristown, Tn., to the late Dr. and Mrs. M.L. Fuel Spill Shuts Down Westbound Traffic At I-24/Hwy 27 Split

Chattanooga Police on Saturday morning were at the scene of a traffic crash involving an 18-wheeler at the I-24/Hwy. 27 split in the westbound lanes.
