Charles "Chuck" Dorman Roach, Jr., 51, of Hixson, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 5, 2012 at his home.

He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a Chattanooga business owner. Chuck attended Chamberlain Baptist Church. He was the Organizer of the N4WT Ham Radio Repeater Group of Chattanooga.  Chuck also served as a volunteer with Hamilton County Emergency Services the past five years as an assistant to the director.    

Chuck is survived by his parents, Dorman and Ina Roach; aunts, Loretta (Tom) Louallen, Carolyn Carney and David and Louise Webb; uncles, Dennis (Rosemary) Roach, Richard (Pat) Roach, Zane (Faye) Roach and Herbert Mitts; several cousins,

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, and 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the North Chapel.

A Celebration of Life Service for Chuck will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the North Chapel with Pastor Jake Carroll officiating.  Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Mark Hamilton, Alan Ray, Gary Fein, Tony Reavley, Don Allen and Jan Wheeler serving as pallbearers. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chuck’s name to Chamberlain Baptist Church, 4064 South Access Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37406, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105 or www.stjude.org.
