Man, 28, Charged With Having Sex With Girl 14

Police have charged 28-year-old Jonathan Jermaine Leath with having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Leath, of 613 Sylvan Dr., is charged with aggravated statutory rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The girl told police she met Leath on Oct. 31 and went to his home. She said they had consensual sex at his residence.

She said she told Leath she was 14, and he told her he was 28.

She said they also smoked marijuana together.

Police said Leath admitted having sex with the girl and smoking marijuana with her, but denied knowing that she was 14.
