Wayne Stanley Sims, 80, of Soddy Daisy, died on Monday, November 5, 2012 in an area hospital. 

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. 

Interment will be in Granny Walker Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy Daisy.

Smith Gets Life Prison Sentence After Conviction In North Chattanooga Murder

A Criminal Court jury on Monday afternoon found Briston Smith Jr. guilty of a North Chattanooga murder. Judge Barry Steelman sentenced him to life in prison.
