Jenny Hillenburg Of Soddy Daisy Promoted To National Executive Director For Thirty-One Gifts

Thirty-One Gifts announced Wednesday Jenny Hillenburg of Soddy Daisy has been promoted to national executive director. National executive director is the top leadership level in Thirty-One’s career path, and Ms. Hillenburg is one of 12 women to reach this level.

Thirty-One Gifts, based out of Columbus, Ohio, is the #1 direct-selling company of "stylish and functional purses, totes, home organization solutions and much more."

Ms. Hillenburg is one of many stories Thirty-One has seen played out since the company formed in 2003. Ms. Hillenburg was the company’s first consultant; she earned Top in Team Sales 2005-2009. She is a member of the company’s Circle of Honor. She is a 2007-2012 member of the Presidential Advisory Council and a 2009-2013 Leadership Council member. Ms. Hillenburg has also earned and traveled on all of the company’s leadership incentive trips.

Woman Killed In Early-Morning Wreck On Thrasher Pike

A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the 1200 block of Thrasher Pike early Saturday morning. Soddy Daisy Police Chief Phillip Hamrick said a female passenger was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to Erlanger Hospital by LifeForce helicopter about 3:15 a.m. The driver was transported by Hamilton County EMS. It is believed he had non-life threatening injuries. ... City May Move Forward On $47 Million Wilcox Tunnel Project

City officials may move forward on a $47 million project to upgrade the narrow Wilcox Tunnel through Missionary Ridge. The City Council on Tuesday is to consider a resolution to apply for a $25 million federal TIGER grant. The city would still have to come up with $21,825,000 through "local funds or grants."
