2 More 2012-13 Small Game Seasons Underway

Rabbit and quail seasons are underway in Tennessee, which began on Nov. 3 and will continue through Feb. 28, 2013.

The daily bag limit is five for rabbits. The daily bag limit for quail is six.

The second segment of Tennessee’s dove season closed on Oct. 28. The third and final segment starts Dec. 19 and will continue through Jan. 15, 2013 with a daily bag limit of 15.


2017-18 Waterfowl, Migratory Bird Hunting Proposals Presented At Commission Meeting

County Commission Votes 8-1 To Deny Permit For Controversial Bakewell Firing Range

The County Commission voted 8-1 on Wednesday to deny a special exceptions permit for a $2.4 million firing range at Retro-Hughes Road at Bakewell. Only Commissioner Greg Martin was in support. Big Woody's Tree Service Employee Killed In Fall On Signal Mountain

Recovery efforts are underway for a man who fell off the side of Signal Mountain. At  11:22 a.m. , a 911 call was made by an employee of Big Woody's Tree Service reporting a man in his early 30s had fallen off the side of the mountain while trimming trees on private property.
