City Of Chattanooga Household Hazardous Waste Collection Is Saturday

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is Saturday, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at 3925 North Hawthorne Street. The facility is open on the second Saturday of each month for all residents of Hamilton County, Tennessee to dispose of common hazardous materials generated within their residence. 

Hazardous materials include batteries, insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, small electronics, oil-based paints, fluorescent light bulbs and many other items. Trained staff will be on site and ready to unload all acceptable household hazardous materials from your vehicle. All of the items collected are reused, recycled, or disposed of properly.
