Heil Environmental Hosts Sanitation Worker Appreciation Celebration Nov. 30

Heil Environmental is honoring local sanitation workers and the great work they do to keep our communities clean and safe at the Sanitation Worker Appreciation Celebration. The event will take place at Miller Plaza, corner of MLK Blvd and Market Street, from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30. It is free to the public. 

Live music, food, beverages, door prizes, demonstrations, and more will be provided. Kids can get their picture taken with Santa and a vintage garbage truck. Learn important safety tips for staying safe around garbage trucks and other sanitation equipment.

Sanitation workers who bring a valid work ID to the event will receive a special gift.
