Obama States - And Response (3)

Friday, November 9, 2012

Forbes Magazine two years ago conducted a study on the fiscal condition of the 50 states. The five states in the worst shape were California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. It is no co-incidence that all five of these states went overwhelmingly for Obama Tuesday.

We traveled the New Jersey Turnpike this past summer. The Garden State had the most traffic, the worst roads and the highest tolls.  I know they have a Republican governor but the state has been overwhelmingly Democrat the past 20 years.

California here we come (fiscally).

I guess Douglas Jones is still using the faulty math and reasoning the Republicans used on Nov. 6.  The top welfare states (the ones who take more money from the federal government than they actually pay into it) are all strongly Republican led.

And if you look at California by itself, it has the 8th largest production and budget in the world.

Douglas Jones states "The five states in the worst shape were California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. It is no co-incidence that all five of these states went overwhelmingly for Obama Tuesday."

May I point out that the states with some of the highest poverty rates and those that receive that highest percentage of federal aid are predominantly all "red" states , including Tennessee and Alabama.....not "Obama States."

Where Is The Highway Patrol?

I am teaching my 15-year-old to drive in the North Georgia and Chattanooga area. I have warned her of the dangers of exceeding the speed limit both as a hazard to herself and in terms of receiving a ticket. What a liar I am.  Have you driven on the local freeways and highways recently? I never see any highway patrolmen helping to reduce speeding or pulling over those who ... (click for more)
