Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office Seeks Information On Identifying 5 People

The Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office is seeking assistance identifying family members of five people whose remains are unclaimed at the Medical Examiner’s office:

· Alvin Glliam Ford, white male, 62

· Rosa Ford, white female, 57

· Josephine T. Davis, white female, 80

· Cheryl Sudderth, white female,  55

· Douglas Michael Cox, white male, 61

Anyone with information regarding relatives of the aforementioned deceased is asked to call the Medical Examiner’s Office at 493-5175.


Home Damaged, Dog Killed In House Fire Friday Afternoon

A home was damaged and a dog was killed on Friday afternoon in a house fire. At  2:30 p.m. , a neighbor called 911 reporting a loud explosion coming from next door. 3 Arrested In Murder Of Reginald Ballard On Feb. 20

East Ridge police detectives have made several arrests in the Feb. 20 murder of Reginald Ballard. Mr. Ballard was found dead at the Cascades Motel at 3625 Ringgold Road. Mr. Ballard had been shot two times.
