Girls Preparatory School senior Sadie Lett, a four-year varsity volleyball player and member of the all-state volleyball team, has signed scholarship papers to play for the University of Tampa next year.
Tampa is an NCAA D-II school that has claimed one national championship and 21 Sunshine State Conference titles. The Tampa Spartans are currently 31-3 in the SSC.
According to GPS volleyball coach Paul Brock, Lett is the first ever GPS volleyball player to get a career Triple 1000, achieving 1000 kills, 1000 digs and 1000 assists. She had 700 kills this past season.
“Sadie is built for high-level volleyball, and many colleges would love to have her on their team because of all the positions she can play,” said coach Brock.
Lett is also a member of the 2012 state championship bowling team and a senior representative on the GPS Student Council.
