Rosalyn Prichard Espy, 59, of Ringgold, Georgia died on Monday, December 10, 2012 at her residence.

She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon A. Parks, Sr., and three sisters, Frances Parks, Helen Prichard and Ellen Prichard. 

She is survived by her husband, Victor “Chuck” Espy of Ringgold, mother, Evelyn Gladden Weaver of Chattanooga, two sons, Roger Dale Hixon of Ringgold, and Fred Franklin Hixon II of Ringgold, brother, Gordon “Bo” A Parks Jr. of Chattanooga, six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. 

There will be no visitation or service, per her request. 

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.

Girl Stabs Boy Twice At Lookout Valley Middle High School

A female student stabbed a male student twice at Lookout Valley Middle High School on Thursday morning. Sheriff Jim Hammond the students are seventh graders.
