Auge', Alvin "Al"

Friday, December 14, 2012

Alvin "Al" Auge', 93, peacefully died on December 11, 2012 in his favorite recliner, holding the hand of Esther, his wife of nearly 71 years.

He was born in Sidney, Montana in 1919 to Eugene Theodore Auge' and Rachel Dorothy (Blanchard) Auge'.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna, from his first wife and two sons, Jimmie and David, from Esther, four grandsons, a granddaughter and several great-grandchildren.

Alvin was a World War II veteran and spent most of his working career as a furniture repair and refinishing specialist.  He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, nature and hanging out with the "old guys" at Hardee's and Bojangles.  His favorite thing to do was spend time with the family that was closest to him: Dave, Karen, Toby, Shannon, Patrick, Jacob, and Joel.  He was a Godly man who was loved and respected by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed by all until that resurrection day.

Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
