Richard Michael Steinwinter, Jr., 31, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012.
He was an employee of Royal Remanufacturing. He enjoyed marital arts and the outdoors and was member of the Mosaic Church in Chattanooga. Mikie was loved by everyone that knew him and a loving and devoted father and son.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cora Steinwinter.
He is survived by his sons, Masen Steinwinter, 7 and Hayden Stienwinter, 6; daughter, Harlie Steinwinter, 9; father, Richard (Regina) Steinwinter, Sr.; mother, Libby Mullins Steinwinter; brother, David (Felicia) Steinwinter; sister, Mindy (Raymond) Layne; step-brothers, Chris and Scott Brown; grandparents, Robert Steinwinter, Bradenton, FL and Ellis and Frances Mullins, Bridgeport, AL; nephews and nieces, Chandler Steinwinter, Severn, Jasmine and Zoe Layne; special aunt and uncle, Francine Kirk and Randy Mullins; as well as several other aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CST on Monday, December 17, with Bro. Tim Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. CST, Sunday, December 16, at the Tate Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers there is a trust for Mikie’s children at First Volunteer Bank.
