Two 18-year-olds are facing charges in a home invasion after an officer got to the scene while they were still in the house.

Anthony Watkins, of 2015 Appling St., and Nakia McMillan, Jr. are charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.

In the incident Sunday, Richard Benford said he heard the doorbell ring at his home on Fairleigh Street. He said when he opened the door a black male armed with a pistol put the gun to his head and threatened to kill him.

He said he was ordered to back up and get on the floor. A toboggan was put over his head and pulled over his face. He said four people were involved.

The intruders demanded money and ransacked the house.

Officer Curtis Morris arrived when the home invaders were going out the back door. After a short foot pursuit, he took Watkins and McMillan into custody.
