Body Found Off Youngstown Road Was That Of Dana Wilkes

The Medical Examiner's office has confirmed that a female body found in woods off Youngstown Road in late November was that of Dana Crumley Wilkes, who had been missing since Nov. 9.

Ms. Wilkes, 48, lived on Palo Verde Drive and was diabetic.

Chattanooga Police officers had responded to a person down call at 3700 Youngstown Road. A citizen called the Police Department and stated he/she saw a possible person lying by the water at that location.

Upon arrival officers found a deceased person in the woods.

Soddy Daisy Man Pleads Guilty To Child Rape; Montgomery Gets 15 Years

A Soddy Daisy man pleaded guilty on Monday to sexual battery by an authority figure and statutory rape by an authority figure. Scott A. Montgomery received concurrent 15-year and six-year sentences.
