Youth, 19, Shot Near 9th Avenue

A 19-year-old was shot Wednesday night near 9th Avenue.

At 10:04 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting near 3800 9th Ave. where they located the victim, Lawarren Smith.

He was suffering from two gunshot wounds to his leg.

He stated he was robbed and shot by two black males. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life-threatening injuries.

One suspect was  5’11” tall, wearing a white hoodie, and the other was 5’11” tall, wearing all black clothing.

Millsaps Charged With Attempted Murder At Highway 58 Home

A Chattanooga man was arrested after police say he showed up at another man's home and put a gun in his face, threatening to kill him.
