Hilary “Doug” Brown, Jr., 84, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.  

He retired from DuPont and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy.  Doug was a 50-year member of the Red Bank Masonic Lodge #717 F &AM, 32 degree Scottish Rite and member of the Alhambra Shrine Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores Brown; four sons, Douglas, Alan, David and Stephen Brown; six grandchildren, Rogne Brown, Jr., Cathy Brown, Lucy Leigh Brown, Eric Mackeson Brown, Sophie Lane Brown and Gracie Sue Brown; great-grandson, Alan Michael Neal; stepsister, Jane Studer and half-brother, Quillan Perkins. 

Services will be private.

County Commission May Amend Resolution Dealing With 501(c)(3)s; Humane Society Says It Won't Comply
