Mantooth, Evelyn "Jeannie" (Etowah)

Evelyn “Jeannie” Mantooth, 75, of Etowah and formerly of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 in an Athens hospital. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Bessie Mae Mantooth; and her sister, Wilma Mantooth. 

She was of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include her sisters, Toni Hewitt of Cleveland, Billie Conner of Forsyth, MT and Mary Louise Sprinkle of Adairsville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, December 27 at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. E Roger Ammons officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 27 from 11 a.m. til service time at the Jim Rush Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

$125 Million County School Building Plan Includes Shifting CSLA To Tyner Middle; Combining Tyner High/Middle; New Harrison Elementary, New East Hamilton Middle
