William Schober

William Scott Schober, 41, of Hixson, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from complications from a motorcycle accident. 

He was a 1991 graduate of Hixson High School. 

He was preceded in death by his father Merlie Schober.

He is survived by his daughter, Katie (Eddie) Holloway, mother, Judy Schober, sister, Tami Howard, grandchildren, Kadence Holloway, Kaiden Holloway, nephew, Jackson Howard. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow the service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. 

His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, and after 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

EPB Says It Did Not Overbill The City; Says City Got $685,877 Break

EPB officials said Tuesday that an exhaustive audit of its street light contract with the city showed that it did not overbill the city. Instead, it said it found that the city was underbilled $685,877. EPB said it only goes back one year on errors so the amount owed by the city would be $178,314.
