Carol W. Armstrong of Chattanooga, died peacefully on Tuesday December 25, 2012 after a short illness. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marion Wilkinson.

She was a member of East Brainerd Baptist Church and she was a member of Chattanooga Red Hat's Club.  Carol was a 29-year member of West Walworth Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  She was retired from retail sales and spent most of her time enjoying life.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Armstrong, sisters, Pam Fox of Weston, Ma., Debbie Kimball of Nashua, N.H., and one niece and several nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, at Heritage Funeral Home.  

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Red Cross-Chattanooga Chapter, 801 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37403.
