Peggy Summers, 69, of Pikeville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012.
She was a member of the Keener Hill Church of God. She enjoyed spending time reading, planting flowers, and just generally enjoyed the outdoors. Peggy worked at Tecumseh as a line worker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Katherine Keener; son, Charlie Scott; grandson, Cameron Scott; and brothers, Ronald, Shelton and Carlos Beavers.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert “Mood” Summers; son, Jimmy Scott; daughter, Tina Scott; granddaughters, Terry Harris and Starr Scott; grandsons, William, James and Jacob Keener, Canyon Scott and Pistol Gaydon; great-grandsons, Zack and Tyler Harris; brothers, Jim (Faye) Beavers, Donald Beavers and Cliff Beavers; mother, Jean Beavers; and several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and dear friends.
Services will be held at the Keener Hill Church of God on Friday, December 28.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday at the Pikeville Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
