Julia Gibson, 100, of East Ridge, Tennessee, died on Thursday, December 27, 2012. 

She had been a member of Second Baptist Church for 87 years, and had served as church secretary and treasurer.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde Gibson; brother, Charles Morrell, San Antonio, Tx.; sister, Dorothy Oliver, Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road with the Reverend Mickey Oliver officiating.

Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, at the funeral home.

Sandra Marie Rymer Holder, 54, died on January 19, 2015. She was a resident of the Chattanooga area most of her life. The Chattanooga Times Free Press told employees on Monday that the newspaper had improved financial performance over the prior year quarters and employees were receiving two percent bonuses.
