Brainerd Baptist Offers New Women's Bible Studies

Four new women's Bible studies will begin the first of January at Brainerd Baptist Church, 300 Brookfield Ave. They are: "No Other Gods," on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 9:30 a.m., led by Stephanie Fallahee; "Nehemiah," Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 p.m., led byTrina Mathias; "The Law of Love," Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 p.m., led by Kay Marie Kendall; and "Lies Women Believe," Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 p.m., led by Tara Wood.

A woman, 20, was kidnapped and sexually assaulted on Monday.    At approximately 5 p.m. Chattanooga Police responded to the report of a sexual assault. The victim told police she had been walking on the 3200 block of Calhoun Street when she was approached by a white male in a newer model black Ford truck.
