Anti-Gun Safety Tips - And Response

Saturday, December 29, 2012

If faced with a crazed gunman:

1. Run briskly to a "Gun Free Zone." This way the attacker will not be able to use his gun because guns are not allowed in a "Gun Free Zone."

2. If this does not work, forcefully point to the sign to make the crazed attacker realize he is in a "Gun Free Zone."

3. If this doesn't work, shout really loudly, "Did you not see the sign?"  Hopefully this will cause the madman to comply and not kill you.

4. If this does not work (and you're still alive) leave the "Gun Free Zone" and proceed to whatever place has the most legally armed good guys with guns and pray that it's not too late to save your life.

It’s the preacher who gives out the tips, helping to keep you on the straight-and-narrow in your quest to waltz through the Pearly Gates. But there are ... (click for more)

Preserving 90-Year-Old Grammar School Just One Of Challenges Facing Town, Signal Council Told

Rather than spend millions upgrading Signal Mountain’s historic grammar school so it can continue to house the Mountain Arts Community Center (MACC), it would make more sense to incorporate that project into a larger multi-pronged one that would solve several issues facing the community, according to town manager Boyd Veal.   For example, Mr. Veal said, the current ...
